Our Association held its AGM & Election of Officers on Tuesday, February 10. Special Guests in attendance were A/Mayor Shannon Power, Rhonda Manning, Parliamentary Assistant for MHA Joedy Wall, and Karen Youden Walsh, KP Community Garden Coordinator. Highlights of the meeting were Chairperson Steve Walsh's Year-in Review of our Activities in 2025 and the re-election of Stephen Griffin, as Vice-chairperson, and Sally Goddard, as Secretary, by acclimation for the period 2026-2028. The chair also introduced 3 new directors who joined in the fall of 2025: Brain Slaney, Ignacia Diaz and Tara Sparkes.
During the chairperson's review Steve Walsh reflected, “Our strategic vision of Building Community Together is coming to fruition thanks to the hard work of our eight volunteer-run board members, the unwavering support of our Council & Staff, our ever-growing collaboration with St. Francis of Assisi School, & the support of many residents from our community and beyond.
