Our Association received $10,227 from the Community Services Recovery Fund of Canada in 2023 to invest in video-conferencing equipment for our monthly meetings and other community events. This funding helped us adapt and modernize our operations to grow our support in LBMCOC, deliver our mandate, increase inclusivity and collaboration between board members and recruit volunteers.
We are grateful to the Town of LBMCOC for permitting us to set in up this equipment in the Council Chambers which also allows them to take full advantage of video-conference capabilities for their meetings. Special thanks to MP Joanne Thompson who supported our efforts to secure this funding.
